Sherry Kennedy

Singer, award-winning songwriter and actor Sherry Kennedy is an internationally acclaimed artist who is perhaps best known for her powerful voice, but also boasts an impressive list of credits as a songwriter and actor. A recording studio veteran, Sherry has released four CD's with two hit singles, appeared on numerous artist projects and lent her voice to countless radio and television jingles. Her extensive repertory and musical theatre credits include several original scripts and theme productions, as well as spending several years as Klondike Kate for Edmonton's Klondike Days. Through her successful business the Sherry Kennedy School of Voice, Sherry has influenced hundreds of students.



Deanna Dubbin

With over two decades of experience, Deanna Dubbin is a familiar face and voice on Calgary's arts scene. Deanna performs with her ensemble in the city's live music venues, has released her debut recording With One More Look at You, appears in a variety of recording studio voice-overs and jingles, and in numerous theatre productions, including "The Covergirls," produced, choreographed, musically directed and performed by Deanna for Stage West Theatre. Growing up in a musical family, Deanna performed with her siblings in the Dubbin show, the singer/dancers appearing at numerous venues and prestigious events. Deanna was the featured vocalist on the theme written by David Foster for the '88 Olympics, has appeared with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra at the Jack Singer Concert Hall and is considered one of the city's finest vocal coaches.



Cindy McLeod



Jazz vocalist, writer and festival producer, Cindy McLeod is well-known for her work on stage and behind the scenes. With three critically acclaimed recordings under her belt, Cindy has toured in Canada, Asia and Mexico, frequently appears in jazz clubs across western Canada and receives frequent airplay across the nation. A presenter in both the jazz and blues idioms, Cindy was instrumental in launching the Calgary International Blues Festival and presents leading jazz vocalists in concert settings. The in-demand vocal clinician assists up-and-coming artists with career development, and is also a music-based web and graphics designer.

Derek Stoll



Pianist, composer & educator Derek has extensive experience working with jazz vocalists and is known for his rich harmonic approach and skillful technique. Derek is an in-demand sideman and is a faculty member at Mount Royal College.











Kai Poscente



Bassist Kai Poscente is a familiar face on the Calgary music scene in a variety of formats from small combos to large ensembles, is oft-called for touring shows and is a member of the Prime Time Big Band.







Pat Belliveau



Saxophonist, recording artist and educator Pat Belliveau is a Yamaha artist who is a highly sought after musician in both live music and studio settings. Pat is a recognized leader in the Canadian jazz music industry.





Steve Foster

Drummer Steve Foster has extensive experience in his native U.K. and in Calgary, where he's made his home for many years. Steve is found in numerous settings from small ensemble to Big Band.









Bob Erlendson

A Canadian jazz legend, pianist Bob Erlendson is regarded as one of the nation's finest pianists and composers. Bob is recognized for his work with legendary guitarist Lenny Breau and is well-known for his original compositions, many of which are featured on his recordings.











Simon Fisk

Bassist, cellist, composer and recording artist Simon Fisk is an often-heard name on the jazz music scene as well as an in-demand studio musician. Simon will be performing for the event as well as well as having his company, Plunge Records broadcasting live to the troops in Afghanistan.
